Technical training abroad for teaching staff
(Task 4)
The aim of the technical training abroad for the teaching staff conducted under Task 4 is to increase the knowledge and technical skills of the domestic and foreign teaching staff involved in the CNC-PROG project. This training is for 10 teachers and instructors involved in the project, both from Poland (8 persons) and abroad (2 persons), including university employees (8 persons) and representatives of business and industry (2 people). The course will consist of 30 hours of technical preparation, particularly in terms of teaching. The technical content quality of the training will be supervised by the manufacturer and user of machine tools and numerical control systems used in the training. The technical training for the teaching staff participating in the CNC-PROG project will be held in DMG-MORI’s centre in Germany and will be completed with an internal exam. The choice of a foreign centre to carry out the training stems from the possibility of acquiring in one place technical knowledge and Heidenheim programming skills together with practical observation of CNC machine design and production. This task would be impossible to implement in Poland. As a result of the technical training, the teaching staff will acquire relevant competences to conduct training within the intensive international education programme. This will increase the attractiveness of the CNC-PROG’s intensive education programme. The training will be conducted by highly qualified DMG-MORI trainers who have the required qualifications to conduct training and examination and to issue professional certificates confirming the acquired skills. The participants will receive a prestigious certificate of technical training completion. The certificate will certify the acquired knowledge, and the participation in the training will improve both their communication, language and intercultural skills, as well as their soft skills (communication skills, self-esteem, creativity, stress resistance, leadership skills, the ability to work with others and independently, as well as time management skills). This certificate will also add to enhancing the international prestige of the intensive education programme “Summer School in CNC programming: CNC-PROG” due to the high quality of training conducted by the specialised staff. The implementation of the task will ensure the proper training of the project participants, as well as bring the results assumed in the project.
